Students will experience a wealth of knowledge and research in our 5 modules of Yogic study, all taught by our lead senior teacher Dr Sri Radha Sharon O'Neill. Module 5 The Physical body is the largest and is allotted 75 hours this has module 4 Transformation of Energy and the Transformational Yoga system added on to complete 100 hours.
We encourage the a process of working through all the modules in parallel rather than one at a time for foundation level. You will have access to thousands of online resources including full day recordings for help with revision.
Midweek evening workshops for teaching practice is also available online with the lead or other SYT participation. Between 25 and 100 per annum are available. Additional mentoring included as standard.
Students must complete a minimum of 22 days of training with the Lead Trainer, with continuous assessment for physical body and movement work. Once hours are completed students are eligible to apply for completion of the final 60 minute asana assessment, submission of a yoga thesis 3000 - 5000 word and submission of the open book exam. Small quizzes and homework tasks are set throughout the course to aid continuous assessment.
The core curriculum is structed around the diverse content of the 5 mandatory books. Our 5 module course is clearly set out for each of the 22 days, using 3 GGYC 200 hour full colour hard copy training manuals. These make the course delivery efficient and effective.

Graduates of our training course will have a clear understanding and insight into the core curriculum.
Module 1 - Personal and Professional Development - 50 hours
Module 2 - History and Philosophy - India - 30 hours.
Module 3 - Anatomy and Physiology - 30 hours (20 can be done online)
Module 4 - Psychology of Transformation of Energy Progression - 25 hours
Module 5 - Physical Yoga Fundamentals and Practice of Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga consists of Asana, Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra and Kriya - 75 hours
